Jason

The Foundation:

Service Dog Excellence

My journey in professional dog training began with the highest level of precision: Service Dogs. I spent multiple years training dogs from the puppy stage all the way through graduation, mastering the advanced skills required for life-changing assistance work. This background taught me that success isn't just about "obedience" it’s about reliability, focus, and a rock-solid bond between dog and handler.

Behavioral Rehabilitation at the APL

From the structured world of service dogs, I moved into the front lines of rescue at the Animal Protective League (APL). For about a year, I specialized in working with "long-term residents" dogs that had been kenneled for extensive periods and struggled with significant behavioral issues. Through intensive Board & Train rehabilitation, I focused on giving these dogs the mental clarity and manners they needed to finally find their forever homes.

The Insider Perspective

To round out my experience, I spent a year and a half as a Floor Supervisor at a large regional canine facility. Managing high-volume packs gave me a unique perspective on social dynamics, but it also showed me the flaws in "big-box" daycare. I saw firsthand how a focus on "more dogs and more money" can compromise individual safety. I left that environment to return to my roots: providing personalized, expert training where your dog’s safety and specific needs are the priority.

My Specialties

Service Dog Foundations: Bringing that same elite precision to every pet I train.

Behavioral "Resets": Rehabilitating high-stress or long-term kenneled dogs using the patience I learned at the APL.

360° Core Obedience: My signature system for total control, ensuring your dog is an "Ace" in the real world, not just the living room.
